Florence JR/SR High School Track – Fremont RE-2 School District
As part of the Fremont RE-2 2022 Bond Projects, iiCON Construction and CSNA Architects were selected to lead the reconstruction of the track and field at Florence JR/SR High School. The original facility, which had suffered from long-term settlement issues, had been unusable for nearly two decades. Our team partnered with the district to completely remove the existing surface and over-excavated the subgrade eight feet to install structural fill, correcting underlying soil conditions. The new facility includes a synthetic turf field, improved drainage systems, a rebuilt retaining wall, and efficient LED lighting to replace outdated fixtures. This revitalized track and field enhances safety and usability for students and the broader community.
